The Inca Professional 4000 jointer planer was a large machine, made after the success of the much smaller Inca Automatic. It is also larger than the newer Inca Concorde 315.
It is a machine made for a production or industrial scale, with a jointing and planing capacity of 400mm. It weighs nearly 300kg.
The jointer tables are made from cast aluminium which were ground with a tolerance of 1/10 of a millimeter. They can be adjusted slightly to keep them in one plane.
Besides its size, the other advantages of the Professional 4000 over the Automatic are the swinging table (no need to remove one half when switching to planer mode), and the integrated dust port.
