The Scheppach HM0-Solo jointer planer is the same machine as the HM2 Kombi, but without the possibility to add any extensions.
The Scheppach HM0, HM1, and HM2 are sturdy machines that are very common on the second-hand market. They are made mostly of sheet metal making them less accurate and susceptible to rust, but they can take quite a beating.
Despite their quality issues, they are often the first machine of choice for beginning woodworking enthusiasts and a decent machine to start learning how to operate a jointer planer.

Bought one of these tonight. Too cheap to turn it down. Ran a few planks through so far-great, looking forward to using it properly. What the reviews say about it being heavy are true, was expecting it to be abit light. Proper power.
