The Kity 619 Table Saw is similar to the Kity 618, but more developed. Its sliding table saw is longer and more stable and sophisticated. A slightly newer version is the Kity 1619, which is for the most part the same machine.

Kity was taken over by Scheppach in 2004, after which the Kity brand was scrapped, and the 619 was continued as the Scheppach Precisa 3.0. The later editions were produced in China. It is unclear if the earlier ones were produced in France or China.

Many modern off-brand China-made table saws also seem to be based on this machine, for example the Holzmann TS250 and the HBM 254. These are probably made in the same factory as the Scheppach Precisa machines, but with slightly different specifications.

Replacement Saw Blades: The Kity 619 can take blades up to 280 mm, which is quite an unusual size. If you want the largest blade, there are only two choices on Amazon UK (With 48 teeth, or another with 64 teeth for finer cuts). On Amazon Germany, there are also two more expensive options, which you can find here.

Alternatively, check the selection of 250mm blades, which means you can cut slightly less high, but choose from a wider range of blades.

What we don't like

  • These machines are often overpriced on the second-hand market
  • Don’t expect professional-level quality

What we like

  • Fully featured table saw with sliding table
  • If you find one for a good price, it should still perform equal to more expensive modern machines

Discussion

  1. Hi, does anyone know if the extension tables have the same fitment for all the different table saw numbers? I’ve got a bog standard 1619 with bottom extension table, but I want to fit some extension tables like the extras pack and I can find any for sale for this model. Thanks.

  2. Hi Rob
I was gifted a 1 619 Kity table saw. Nameplate suggest 1994 model
A bit of a bad shape in some places but after figuring out all the bits and pieces not too bad after all. Needs lots of setup & cleaning though. The 90/45 degree and height adjustment seem to work. The alignment with table deck seem to cause a slight off 90 deg cut as I move through. How does this adjust. It has 3 levers on the 1 side and the height adjustment on the other. Thank you, wanted to send a photo but could not attach

    • Hi Markus, sorry for the late reply. If you send over the image to robbert@machineatlas.com I’ll add it to your post, maybe another Kity 1619 use can answer your question.
