The Kity 439 Jointer Planer is a more modern machine, released somewhere in the 2000s. Its size is somewhat comparable to the much older Kity 635. The last generation of Kity machines can be recognized from the yellow color that was added to the classic green.
The metal stands that were sold with the machines can also be used for the Kity 419 table saw and the 429 spindle moulder/shaper.
This machine is practically identical to the Scheppach Plana 2.0c. There are still some parts available for this machine, and there is a good chance they will also fit on the Kity 439. They were possibly both manufactured at the same Scheppach plant in Germany or China.
A mortising attachment and table was available as an extra option.
Replacement Blades: If your blades are damaged or missing completely, there are still a few places that sell replacement blades. For example, here at Amazon Germany, or here at Amazon UK.
Decent machine with high thickness planing capacity. Usually a bit too expensive for their quality.
