The SCM Minimax SC 4e (elite) is a panel saw aimed at serious hobbyists or small professional shops. According to SCM it is their #1 best selling panel saw. The Minimax ST 4e is almost the same machine, but with a spindle moulder added.
It is slightly larger and has a few more options than the Minimax SC 3c. For example, the sliding table of the SC 4e is 36 mm while the SC 3c’s table is only 27 mm wide. There are several nice touches that also make this machine an upgrade over its cheaper siblings, such as integrated folding handwheels (so you don’t have to remove them) and digital read out of the blade angle.
The Minimax SC 4e can be configured in multiple ways. The sliding table can range from 1600 to 3200mm and there are four different motors to choose from, both single and three-phase.
The scoring blade can also have a separate motor. Note that this has to be ordered from the factory and cannot be added later, unlike most other optional configurations.
