The Elektra Beckum PK 300 K is a relatively affordable vintage panel saw. It does not necessarily come with the large sliding table necessary for cutting sheet goods, but almost all second-hand versions seem to have it.
There are two sizes of sliding tables, and there are also two table extensions available, one for the front and back, and one for the side.
It is less heavy than most other panel saws, most likely due to its case being made from sheet metal. The Elektra Beckum PK series generally lack the quality levels of more expensive machines, but with attention and care they can be solid machines.
The PK 300 K is the larger brother of the PK 250 and PK 200 table saws. Like its siblings, the PK 300 K comes in the original green color and Elektra Beckum brand, a blue color and Elektra Beckum brand, and a blue color version with Metabo branding.
Replacement Saw Blades: If you’re looking for new blades for your PK 300, there are still quite a few 300mm, 30mm arbor blades available. It is not the most common blade size however, so you may have to look at slightly smaller ones. Perhaps a 305mm blade could also fit.
You can find 300mm blades that will fit the PK300 with good user reviews on Amazon UK or Amazon Germany.
