The DeWalt DWE 7492 table saw is a jobsite saw with respectable accuracy, making it popular with home woodworkers as well. It has a maximum cut capacity of 77mm, and can be upgraded with a rolling stand for easy movement. It is the updated version of the DeWalt DWE7491.
One of the reasons people like this machine is its accurate fence, which is moved with a rack and pinion system. This makes it much more accurate and reliable than most fence systems in this price range.
The fence is secured both on the front and the back, minimizing flex. There are three possible pairs of set screws that the fence can be attached to, so you can switch between them easily without losing accuracy.
The miter gauge that comes with it is considered quite poor, but it has a standard miter slot, so you can simply buy a replacement miter gauge from a quality brand and use that instead.
Alternatives for the DWE7492 include its own sibling, the DW745 and Bosch GTS 10 XC.
Replacement Saw Blades: The DWE7492 accepts up to 250mm diameter blades and has a 30mm arbor. You can browse some blades that will fit the DWE7492 and have good reviews on Amazon Germany or Amazon UK.
Quality jobsite saw. Great accuracy for a jobsite saw and lightweight.

Guys, the DWE7491RS which this unit replaced were able to accept a Dado blade,
Dewalt says this one can not take a Dado blade, but think it’s just politics as the unit sold in South Africa, we fall under Europe and Europe does not allow Dado blades….
If anyone have hands on knowledge/experience.
Can’t give you a definitive answer, but it will depend on the arbor size. There are some European saws that can actually take a dado stack even though they say it’s not allowed, while on some others they’ve actually reduced the arbor size to make it impossible to add dado blades.
You can use dado blades. Here’s a Swiss German Youtube video showing it in use: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m5CpkG0WyVI
The DWE7492 (European unit) has a 30mm arbor and as most DADO stacks has 5/8″ (approx. 15,9mm) arbor it’s an issue right there. So in fact most DADO stacks that are sold would not fit a table saw with a 30 mm arbor.
But, could a DADO stack be fitted to a European table saw model ?
Yes, as long as it’s arbor, it’s blade circumference is within the limits of the table saw *and* the width of the opening for the saw blade is wide enough…
There are many different DADO stacks from the narrow types to the really wide once with many blades and it’s obviously a real safety hazard if you don’t know what you are doing.
Thanks to Simon for the Youtube Video!
Greetings
