The Metabo TK 1256 table saw is a machine from the well-reputed Magnum series. It is the smallest of the Metabo TK series.

The machines from the Magnum series are generally considered to be some of the best made by Metabo, and of great quality for home woodworkers. They are a step up from for example the comparable Elektra Beckum PK series.

This machine was sold without a base, with a metal stand, or with a cabinet stand with drawers. Wheels were optional too. The second-hand price will vary strongly depending on the number of features.

Even though this machine is quite small, there were a sliding table and table width and length extensions available. Some of these are exchangeable with the extensions for the larger TK 1685 and TK 1688.
