The SCM Minimax SC 2 C (classic) is the second machine of their entry-level panel saw series. It is the larger brother of the Minimax SC 1G. Besides being generally bigger, it also has the advantage of a scoring knife (optional) and an improved sliding table. Sold in Germany under the Holzkraft brand.
Whereas the sliding table of the SC 1G runs on ball bearings, the SC 2C uses steel guides, which tend to be smoother and more quiet.
The rip fence is quite long and moves along a round guide bar. It has a fine adjustment knob which uses a rack and pinion system on the edge of the table, which allows you to adjust the fence very finely and controlled. The rip fence also has a quick release lever to move the bar quickly.
It comes standard with an eccentric clamp, outrigger table with telescopic crosscut fence and flip stops.
