The Hammer K3 Basic is the most affordable and simplest version of the Hammer K3 table and panel saw series. Its larger brothers are the Hammer K3 Winner and K3 Winner Comfort.
All the K3 machines are quite similar in their basic form. The main differences are in terms of size and the number of upgrades available. For example, the K3 basic can be upgraded to be similar in size to the K3 Winner, but no larger. It also lacks the possibility to add an outrigger table.
Picking a machine among the three is therefore not just a question of what fits you best right now, but also what upgrades you may want to add later.
Every K3 saw comes with a miter gauge with a 900mm extrusion. The saw has a precision system which allows you to easily reset the miter gauge to its 90 degrees position, as can be seen here.
